Guacamole FAQs

How do I store guacamole to prevent browning?

To keep your guacamole fresh and green, place it in an airtight container and cover the surface with about half an inch of water. This creates a barrier against oxidation. When ready to eat, simply pour off the water and enjoy!

How much guacamole does this recipe make?

This recipe yields approximately six servings, perfect for sharing or enjoying as a satisfying snack.

How long does it take to make this guacamole?

From start to finish, this guacamole takes just 10-15 minutes! It’s all about prepping and combining the ingredients.

Can I use bottled lime juice?

While you can, fresh lime juice makes a significant difference in taste. We highly recommend using freshly squeezed lime juice for the best flavor!

How do I know if an avocado is ripe enough?

Gently press the outside of the avocado. It should yield slightly to the pressure. If it’s too firm, it’s not ripe. If it’s overly soft, it’s overripe. A quick taste test can also help confirm ripeness!
