Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large egg
- ¼ cup milk
- ½ cup dry breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, minced
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano
- ¼ teaspoon fresh ground pepper
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 jar spaghetti sauce, 24 oz.
- 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded, 4 oz.
- 1 package potato gnocchi, 16 oz.
- Additional chopped parsley, optional (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F. Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray and set aside.
- Cook gnocchi according to package directions.
- In a large bowl, add ground beef, garlic, egg, milk, breadcrumbs, parsley, salt, oregano, pepper, and Parmesan cheese. Mix until combined. Form into 1-inch balls. Place on the baking sheet and cook for 18-20 minutes or until no longer pink.
- Lower the oven to 350°F.
- Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Place cooked meatballs and gnocchi into the dish. Pour spaghetti sauce over top. Stir. Sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until cheese is melted and sauce is bubbly.
- Garnish with parsley (optional).
Notes
Tips:
- To save time, use frozen meatballs.
- You can use homemade gnocchi.
- A small cookie scoop ensures meatballs are uniform in size.
