As someone who loves exploring the grocery store for new and exciting food finds, I’m always on the lookout for products that make life easier and offer a fun, novel experience. From uniquely flavored snacks to innovative baking ingredients, I’m usually eager to try them all!

WONKA Peel-a-Pop Frozen Treats

During a recent shopping trip, I spotted WONKA™ Peel-a-Pop™ frozen treats. The concept? You can actually peel these treats like a banana! I was immediately intrigued. It’s such a fun and unique feature, and the fact that you can eat the “peel” – a delicious vanilla flavored dessert – is a bonus!

The Kids’ Verdict

My children absolutely loved the grape flavor, while I preferred the banana. Both were fantastic and provided a great experience! They were the perfect treat on a hot summer day, and now that school is back in session (and the weather is still warm here in Phoenix), they make an excellent after-school snack.

We’ll definitely be adding more WONKA™ Peel-a-Pop™ frozen treats to our shopping list!

You can find WONKA™ Peel-a-Pop™ frozen treats nationwide at stores like Wal-Mart, Target, Safeway, and Kroger, with a suggested retail price of $4.29 per 8-bar carton.

WONKA Peel-a-Pop with Cupcakes

Inspired by these fun frozen treats, I decided to “wonkafy” one of my favorite desserts: cupcakes! These Grape Cupcakes with Banana Icing combine two flavors from the WONKA Peel-a-Pops with two flavors my kids love, a combination I had never considered before.
